There was a huge turn-out last night for our guest speaker Stella O’Malley, who gave an inspiring talk to parents on developing children’s resilience, confidence and social skills.
She blended her experiences from working as a Psychotherapist and a counsellor with the practical insights gained as a mother, to produce an engaging and thought-provoking input.
Stella is a natural public speaker, and spoke with ease and great humour to us all.
As you may know, Stella is the author of the bestseller books Cotton Wool Kids and Bully-Proof Kids.
These books were available to purchase on the night, and Stella has generously offered to sell them at the same special rate through the school reception.
The purchase price for one book is €15 and two books is €20. We will accept orders throughout next week.
