Arrangements for Kerri's Funeral

The entire school community has been shocked and saddened at the death of our beloved Kerri Behan, who passed away on Saturday morning. Our school community is numb with grief at Kerri’s passing.

Parayer Service this morning

This morning, the entire school community of pupils and staff went to the church in Littlepace, to hold a special service of remembrance for Kerri. It was a special moment of together-ness for the school community at a time of deep shock and grief.

Book of Condolence

We have opened a Book of Condolence in the Senior school Reception area, where parents and pupils can leave a tribute to Kerri. It will remain open for the next two days.

Funeral Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Kerri’s remains will be buried after requiem Mass, which will be celebrated in St. Peter’s Church, Dunboyne at 11am. Full details are on RIP.ie.

Guard of Honour and Choir

Pupils from the Senior School will form a guard of honour outside the school, from Castaheany to Littlepace, as Kerri’s remains are being brought from her home through Littlepace. All pupils should come to school in full school uniform.

Kerri’s class have been invited to form a guard of honour at the church in Dunboyne. The choir has also been asked to sing as part of the Mass. Due to limited capacity we can only bring choir members from 4th, 5th and 6th classes to the church. We have organised transport to and from the church for Ms. Traver’s Class and members of the choir.

We ask for your prayers for Kerri’s family and friends; her mother Anita, her father Paul and her little sister Emma.

Solas na bhFlaitheas ar a hanam uasal

May her good and gentle soul rest in peace.
