Seachtain na Gaeilge

This week we are celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge in School.

The week offers us a special focus on our native language and culture.

We are encouraging all- parents and children- to use Gaeilge as much as possible.

Among the many activities the children will be engaging in are:

• Short story / Comic Strip competition

• Yard Games ‘as Gaeilge’

• Learning Irish dances throughout the week

• Amhrán: Seo Mar A Táim (This is Me!)

• Nuacht an Lae (Daily News) on the intercom

• Ag canadh Amhrán na bhFiann (singing the National Anthem each day over the intercom)

• Siopa Gaeilge

• Ceilí Mór ar an Aoine

Tá súil againn go mbaineann gach duine sult agus taitneamh as an seachtain.
