Today, 48 children from Third to Sixth class had the wonderful opportunity to take part in an Athletics meet in Porterstown, along with children from 24 primary schools across North Dublin.
These children qualified for the meet following Athletics trials held in the school a number of weeks ago.
It was a wonderful opportunity for children to celebrate their love of running and compete in very competitive races.
The weather was just perfect for running- crisp and bright- and not a cloud in the sky.
We are delighted to be getting involved in competitions and getting out to meet and compete with other schools.
A big thank you to the teachers who organized the trials and to Ms. Horan and Mr. Curtin for accompanying the children on the day- well done all!!
