Christmas Preparations in the Senior School

There is a special air of excitement around the school as the children prepare to celebrate Christmas in the school and in their homes. As you can see from the pictures, we are all very busy!

Carol Service

The staff and children have been busy preparing songs and carols for our evening Carol Service. We are delighted that we are able to go back to Hunstown Church, which has been restored beautifully after the fire.

It will take place on Tuesday the 12th December at 7:30 pm. All the children in the Senior school and their parents are invited to the church in Huntstown for an evening of carols and songs which will be performed by the children of the senior school. We hope that the Carol Service will give us the opportunity to come together and share in the festive spirit. Children should be in the church no later than 7:15.

Collection for charity

On the night of the Carol service it is planned to have a collection. Half of the proceeds will be given to the Dublin 15 Hospice movement and the other half to the parish here in Littlepace.

Spaces Strictly Limited

You will appreciate that with almost 500 pupils involved in the

Carol Service and with their parents invited, we are not in a position to accommodate younger brothers and sisters or extended family members at the service, due to the limited capacity of the church. In fact, with the refurbishments in the church, there is less space than in previous years, so this stipulation must be strictly enforced.

We cannot organise this event without the co-operation of all parents

- please comply with this request!

Santa Hats:

The children are asked to come to the Carol Service dressed in their school uniform. They are also asked to have a plain red Santa hat with a white bobble. Please make sure that you put your child’s name on the hat!
