This week we are celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge in School.
The week offers us a special focus on our native language and culture.
We are encouraging all- parents and children- to use Gaeilge as much as possible.
Among the many activities the children will be engaging in are:
Short story / Comic Strip competition
Yard Games ‘as Gaeilge’
Learning Irish dances throughout the week
Amhrán: Seo Mar A Táim (This is Me!)
Nuacht an Lae (Daily News) on the intercom
Ag canadh Amhrán na bhFiann (singing the National Anthem each day over the intercom)
Siopa Gaeilge
Ceilí Mór ar an Aoine
Tá súil againn go mbaineann gach duine sult agus taitneamh as an seachtain.
