We hope that you and your family are keeping well and managing to get a routine going at home in the very changed reality that has presented itself on all of us.
I wanted to keep parents and pupils alike updated on what we are doing in the school.
At present we are setting up Aladdin Connect. We will use Connect as our main communication tool to interact with parents and pupils alike. So far, there has been a fantastic response, and we would like to thank you all for your co-operation.
Parents who have not registered are asked to do so as soon as possible.
If parents are experiencing difficulties, they should email the school at email@example.com.
We will keep our website active and up to date as a further means of information and support.
We would refer parents and pupils alike to our support page: Work to Do at Home
Distance Learning: SeeSaw
Separately, we are also working on giving parents and pupils access to an online learning platform called SeeSaw. Most classes already use this in school, and we look forward to launching this access at home. It should greatly assist pupils in learning from home.
Once we have all parents registered with Connect, we will proceed to the next stage of distance learning using SeeSaw. We envisage that we will have more detail on this by next week.
In the meantime pupils should continue with the work assigned to them by their teachers before school broke up last Thursday, as well as the online content on the school’s website.
On Sunday evening, we will be sending parents and pupils a programme of work for the week ahead on Aladdin Connect. This will also be uploaded to the school’s website.
We send the best wishes from all our staff in Mary, Mother of Hope Senio School to all our pupils, parents and families.
Take care of each other and stay safe!
