Dear parents/guardians,
I hope that you are all well, and that you enjoyed the Summer! We are delighted to be back in school, and are especially pleased to welcome the new children joining our school in 3rd class or in other classes!
I wanted to let you know that, after 22 years as principal here in Littlepace, I will leaving Mary, Mother of Hope Senior School after mid-term break. It is a momentous decision for me to make, and one that is full of mixed emotions.
I will be taking on a new role as Education Advisor and I am very much excited by, and looking forward to, this new direction in my career. However, I will also be leaving a school community that I love- one that has been such a central part of my life for the past 22 years. It has been the privilege of my life to lead this school, since it was established back in 2001. I wish to thank everyone for the kindness, friendship and support they have shown me over the years.
I know that they will be equally supportive of our new management team: Áine Fitzpatrick as Principal and Éidín Macnamara as Deputy principal. I know that the school will continue to evolve and develop as a centre of excellence for our community in Littlepace. With every best wish for the year ahead.
With every best wish for the year ahead,
Enda McGorman
