Safer Internet Day (SID) is an EU wide initiative to promote a safer internet for all users, especially young people.
As a school who embraces technology, we use the internet to enrich our learning. However, we are always mindful of the importance of using the Internet in a safe and responsible way.
Classes enjoyed a day of presentations and activities based around safe use of the internet.
Topics discussed in classes included how to keep your information private, how to avoid cyber bullying and how to separate fact from fiction in the online world.
Both students and teachers wore Internet Safety wristbands to celebrate the day.
