Marathon Kids Final Mile Event
We had a fantastic afternoon with the pupils from 5th and 6th class who completed the Marathon Kids Final Mile Event today.
The children put on a superb performance, and were cheered on by their classmates from 3rd and 4th class, as well as a huge gathering of parents wishing them well!
We were delighted to be joined by Irish Olympian, David Gillick, who presented the medals at the Finishing Line and gave an inspirational speech to all the children.
I would like to thank all of the teachers involved in the programme for their commitment and dedication to the programme.
And remember boys and girls today was not that end, but a new beginning!
