There was a great air of excitement in school today as we celebrated Blue Day for the Dubs!
It was our very first Whole School Assembly, and we were delighted that our new 3rd class pupils could share in the experience! The fine weather, we celebrated outdoors in the 3rd class yard.
The children sang some of their favourite Dublin songs, and we heard inspirational speeches from Mr. Lally and Ms. Oakes, both of whom have All-Ireland medals.
Ms. McKenna, a native of Co. Tyrone, also made a speech about her own preparations for the big day next Sunday.
We wish the Boys in Blue the very best as they strive to make it four in a row!
