Our School Football Season So Far
This year, 48 teams entered the top league in all of Dublin, so we knew it was going to be a really tough competition from the very start. Our first match was against Belgrove Senior Boys, and it was one of the hardest games we’ve played. The match was so close that it went to extra time. One of the best moments of the game was when Dragos was put through one-on-one with the keeper and he chipped him. It was a wonderful goal! Everyone worked really hard and and we managed to win 4-2. It was an unbelievable feeling after the game.
Next, we played Holywell ETNS. We played super as a team and ended up winning 5-0, which was a great result.
Now, there are only 16 teams left in the competition, and we are one of them.
Our next match is on the 29th of April in Damastown Park. We are all really excited and can’t wait to play it.
