Halloween Update!

Good morning all, I hope that you are all well ahead of mid-term break. There a few things to bring to your attention: Cinema Friday A big thank you to the children in 6th class who are organizing a Halloween Cinema experience tomorrow and for preparing treats for everyone in school- it promises to be a great day of entertainment for the all. All proceeds received from this fund=raiser will go towards the 6th class trip to Carlingford. Fancy Dress Pupils may come to school tomorrow in fancy dress ahead of Halloween. If the weather is good, we will have a parade outdoors mid-morning, and we are very much looking froward to that! Coffee morning for Cancer Research Can I remind everyone that the Parents Association are hosting a Coffee Morning tomorrow morning in the Junior School Hall in aid of Cancer Research. I want to thank the PA for organizing the Coffee morning. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning after drop-off and want to thank you for any donations you may be able to make! Maths Week Last week, we celebrated Maths Week in the shcool, with all children enjoying extra activities in Maths. We all tried to open our Maths Eyes and looked for evidence of Maths in the world around us. Well done to all who took part in the different competitions! Thank you to all who supported Maths Week, especially our Maths coordinator Ms. Greene. Children going to Mass This morning, 3rd class children who made their Holy Communion last year will be going to Mass. This is our fourth week of going to Mass, and all classes will now have been to the church. We are delighted to be back to our weekly services after a very long time away due to Covid. School Closure for Mid-term Break School will be closed for Mid-term Break next week and will reopen on Monday, November 7th. I hope you all get to enjoy a relaxing break with family and friends and that all of our children stay safe over the Halloween break. Best wishes, Enda McGorman
