Partnership in Action in our School!

ATP update

The ‘Action Team Partnership’ Committee has been in operation in Mary, Mother of Hope SNS for a number of years. Sadly, due to the pandemic, we had to pause our activities, but now we are back up and running again!

The ATP is a working partnership within the school comprising of pupils, support staff, ancillary staff, teachers, parents and community members working together.

The ATP was an initiative set up to give the children on the committee a ‘voice’.

We work closely with the National Parents' Council (NPC) and the Irish Primary Principals' Network (IPPN) as we progress through our targets.

This year we are choosing the theme of ‘getting to know our school mates’ and we have adopted initiatives such as PenPals between classes, visiting TY students and improving our yard experiences.

We are now looking to get to know our Parent Body better also and we invite you to respond to a quick survey highlighting skills or expertise you may like to share with our classes in the future.

Our goal is to build a bank of interested parents and to begin ‘getting to know’ you better also!

Please take a moment to complete our short survey by clicking on the following link:

Best wishes from all on the ATP team!
