An exciting visit from Manna!
In sixth class we were lucky enough to have the drone company ‘manna’ come in to talk to us about their company and how they deliver the food in under 3 minutes! They have two companies in different countries one, as we know, is in Ireland and the other is in Finland. The one in Finland is more of a testing site though, to see if they can fly in intense weather conditions such as heavy snow. All of manna’s drones are are resistant to rain so they can still deliver regularly i

An update from the Girls Football team!
Our girls team is doing really well this year. In the first game, we played Scoil Thomais and we won 6–2 on an extremely cold and wet day. Then we went on to the next round and played St. Helen’s SNS in Portmarnock. We won that game 3–1. After that, we played St. Brigid’s in Cabinteely on the 27th of April. It was a tough match but we did really well and won 3–1 again. All of our players have played really well and have really impressed us with their skill and effort. Our nex

An update from our Boys Football team!

Our first match was against Belgrove Senior Boys, and it was one of the hardest games we’ve played. The match was so close that it went to extra time. One of the best moments of the game was when Dragos was put through one-on-one with the keeper and he chipped him. It was a wonderful goal! Everyone worked

The book is a favourite with both teachers and pupils, bringing the harsh realities of the Famine to life through the eyes of children.
